Fees and Offerings
Instrumental lessons are offered in 30, 45, or 60 minute options, at the discretion of the teacher. Please discuss length of lesson with the teacher before registering. The fees for these lessons are as follows (***actual fee may vary depending on number of weeks in your semester as determined by instructor; 15 weeks is the maximum):
30 minutes = $24/lesson = $360 per semester (15 weeks)
45 minutes = $36/lesson = $540 per semester (15 weeks)
60 minutes = $48/lesson = $720 per semester (15 weeks)
Voice lessons are offered in 45 or 60 minute options, at the discretion of the teacher. Please discuss length of lesson with the teacher before registering. The fees for these lessons are as follows (***actual fee may vary depending on number of weeks in your semester as determined by instructor; 15 weeks is the maximum):
45 minutes = $42/lesson = $630 per semester (15 weeks)
60 minutes = $56/lesson = $840 per semester (15 weeks)
Included with each semester’s tuition is the opportunity to play publicly in either a master class or recital setting, as well as group lesson opportunities provided by the instructor (as determined by each instructor). Instructors will also provide a progress report after 8 weeks and at the end of each semester mapping the student’s achievement against defined goals.

Chamber Ensemble opportunities for wind, brass, and piano instruments.
Jazz/Rock Combo opportunities for band instruments, piano, guitar, bass, and percussion.
Collaborative Repertoire opportunities for pairing instruments. Common pairings include wind instruments and piano, guitar and flute, piano/guitar and voice.
In order to hold availability for each student, a completed registration form and a deposit of 50% of the tuition for the semester is due at a designated date prior to the beginning of the semester. For Spring all 2018, that date is January 15, 2017. You will be billed for the remainder of the semester’s balance by the Stuart Hall business office the first first of March (due March 15) for the spring semester. Payments not received by the due date will be assessed a late fee of $25. You are financially obligated for the entire semester regardless of participation. Registration can be completed here.
Missed Lessons/Cancellation Policy
Our teachers are committed to providing the very best instruction possible, and by contracting their services for the semester, you are contracting their time of preparation and teaching. For this reason, our make-up policies are strictly observed and our hope is to have students prioritize lessons over other activities for their scheduled time. However, some conflicts cannot be avoided, and our policy allows for a certain amount of flexibility.
Students will receive one make-up lesson each semester for excused absences which have been scheduled 24 hours in advance. Some teachers may make a swap-list available for their studios. Please contact the teacher to have swaps approved ahead of time, as each student requires different preparation from the teacher. In the case of extreme weather, the teacher will communicate plans for lessons, as the program may be open even if local schools are not. If weather causes an interruption in lessons resulting in more than one missed lesson, the teacher will reschedule to make up additional lessons. If a teacher cancels a lesson for any reason, it will be made up at a mutually agreed upon time.
