Our mission and vision are palpable on campus, from mastery-based learning in our classrooms to the lifelong friendships developing in our dorm rooms to the real-world connections of the Staunton is Our Campus initiative.
OUR MISSION
To prepare students of all faiths for success in universities worldwide and for engaged lives of intellectual curiosity, creativity, and contribution.
OUR VISION
Stuart Hall graduates will be independent, self-aware, self-directed, and motivated and will master–through meaningful, real-world learning experiences–the knowledge and skills essential for engaged contribution to the world.
Strategic Priorities
Stuart Hall's Strategic Priorities are Mastery, Growth, Sustainability, and Leadership. Specifically, by 2027, Stuart Hall will:
ESTABLISH MASTERY as the fundamental principle of its academic, co-curricular, and student life programs, and establish a roadmap for implementing mastery that is aligned with the mission, vision, and Graduate Goals.
PROMOTE SUSTAINABILITY by investing in the people, programs, and facilities that will lead the next phase of program development and implementation.
STIMULATE GROWTH by increasing enrollment, increasing philanthropy, and stewarding all constituents to strengthen their connection with and commitment to the school.
FOSTER LEADERSHIP by assessing current leadership and management programs and systems at all levels and acting to ensure they effectively serve current and future needs.
