What To Expect During Your Visit
Arrival
When you come to the Old Main front entrance, you will be greeted by a member of our Admission team, who can answer any questions and help you get oriented ahead of your tour.
The Tour
Visiting families will explore our historic campus, guided by either a student or a member of the Admission team. You will get a chance to peek inside classrooms, athletic facilities, art classrooms, our Dining Room, and the Eastham Center. This is a great chance to get a feel for our community. Feel free to ask the tough questions!
The Interview
You will sit down with an Admission officer for an extended conversation. This is an opportunity for us to learn about you beyond the application. We want to know about your passions, interests, and what excites you about Stuart Hall. This is also a time for you to ask any questions that may not have been covered in the tour. For the interview, we ask that you dress comfortably, although not in gym shorts or sweatpants.
Arriving On Campus:
Our home in Staunton, Virginia, is truly one of a kind. Because of that, we invite you to explore our vibrant downtown before your arrival. It's only a few short blocks from the school! Learn more about our hometown on our Location & Directions page.
Old Main, our main campus building, is at 235 W. Frederick Street. There is nearby parking on West Frederick and Fillmore streets and at our Middle School entrance off Osage Place. (To reach this lot, go west on West Frederick, turn right on North Madison, and take the second right onto Osage Place.) For additional help in navigating the area, please contact a member of our admissions team for assistance.
