Stuart Hall Graduate Goals

THE STUART HALL GRADUATE

Stuart Hall's six graduate goals are foundational to our academic program, framing the skills to be mastered before a student launches into life beyond high school.  These goals, or key proficiencies, are:

  • Well-Being
  • Citizenship
  • Communication
  • Collaboration
  • Creativity
  • Critical Thinking

The development of this skill set is the expression of the Stuart Hall program, stemming from a community-based, authentic learning curriculum, rooted in the liberal arts. Stuart Hall School has embedded the teaching of this skill set into the academic curriculum and community life program, and uses the geographical setting of historic Staunton and its surrounding areas to provide authentic opportunities for content and skill set development through the Staunton is Our Campus (SIOC) initiative.
